Key Features:

Lithium Iron Phosphate batteries are made from a naturally occurring compound called Triphylite. The mineral is found everywhere in the world. Batteries made from this mineral are safe and pose almost no effect on our environment.

Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) batteries contain no harmful elements like cobalt or nickle.

LiFePO4 batteries are 1/3 the weight of Sealed Lead Acid batteries of the same dimensions.

Lithium Iron Phosphate batteries do not explode or catch fire like Lithium Ion batteries can. They are safe to ship via air and can be shipped overseas.

12.8 Volt LiFePO4 Battery
2 - 12 volt outputs fused at 15 amps (10 AH Pack)
1 - 12 volt output featuring a covered SAE-2 pin connector (Base Radio Connector) fused at 20 amps (50 AH Pack)
1 - 12 volt output fused at 20 amps (50 AH Pack)
Charger and Charger Cord - 2 amp for the 10 AH Pack, and 5 amp for the 50 AH Pack

Unique Features:

Our battery supplier states that the LiFePO4 battery can last up to 2500 charge / discharge cycles. The SLA batteries generally last 200-300 cycles. Therefore the life expectancy is approximately 10 times that of SLA batteries.

Excepting the battery chargers, all of GPAC's Portable Power Solutions accessories will work with the new LiFePO4 packs. The charge cycle of the new pack is different from the SLA charger cycle, therefore the SLA charger is not recommended for use with the new pack.
