Portable Power Solutions 7.2 Volt DC Converter Module only. Requires a compatible battery cable assembly for proper operation. Used with Sokkia SET Series Instruments equipped with a 3-pin Tajimi power connector AND ALSO MARKED 6V ON THE INSTRUMENT. Some SET Instruments are capable of 12 volt operation and are marked 12V on the instrument.
SET Instruments will require 7.2 volts input to properly regulate the internal voltage and display the battery level correctly. Original SET external NiCad battery packs delivered 7.2 volts to the Instrument. Our 6 Volt DC-DC Converter is regulated to 7.2 volts to compensate the internal battery indicator correctly.
